Esperance Community Volunteering
Gavin is on the steering committee for Esperance Ag Fund. Previously, he was also the Treasurer for OLSOTS.
Tessa is a Coach for the Esperance U17’s Hockey Team, as well as being on the Fundraising Committee for Esperance Netball Association. Tessa is also a Castletown Primary School Year 6 Camp Committee member.
Mel has been on the board for Esperance Organised Primary Producers, (EOPP). since 2013. She is also Treasurer of the Esperance Cricket Association since 2017 (and no-one in her family plays cricket either).
Tania is a member of the P&C and Treasurer for Castletown Primary School and a member and coach of the Esperance Hockey Association Comittee.
Trish is an Advocate for FemEmpowered with Lesa Blackham and has presented to participants on topics such as money and budgeting. She also has a passion for felines, and has always been involved in some way or another in helping rescue stray and abandoned cats, and has fundraised for Surf Lifesavers Australia.
Deb Walker Marshall
Although Deb has only lived in Esperance for a year, she's already been a volunteer for Share the Dignity which was held in November 2021.
Dave is well known for his involvement in basketball here in Esperance. Currently, he's Treasurer of the Esperance Basketball Association, Umpire for Junior & Senior Basketball and a coach for multiple junior basketball development teams.
Cheryl is a long-term member of the Nulsen Primary School P&C Committee as a general committee member and was previously Treasurer. She's also Junior Treasurer for the mighty Esperance Football Club – Go Bulldogs!
Tahlia is our dedicated Mental Health First Aider here at Smith Shearer and is committed to helping our clients, and the community as a whole, by raising awareness and assisting with Mental Health First Aid.
